I have over 17 yrs. experience in public accounting specializing in audits and reviews of for-profit companies, not-for-profit organizations and HUD assisted entities. I also have experience with audits of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), special service districts, and other health and welfare organizations. This includes organizations with federal awards subject to the Uniform Guidance (formerly referred to as OMB Circular A-133). I also have all required continuing professional education to perform audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards (GAS) and the Uniform Guidance. I am a member of the American Insitute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA).

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and have lived in Austin and San Marcos as well. I am married to my beautiful wife, Lupe. She is currently a counselor for children and families. She is also an art instructor at a local community college. We have two dogs named Coco and Kula. I am a big fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. I enjoy karaoke, weightlifting and bike riding. I am also attempting to learn how to play the guitar.
